No pile, no tufting glue — just wool weft pulled tight across a wool warp by hand. Reversible, built to last.
Hand-spun wool, dyed with vegetable dye in small batches — the natural colour banding (abrash) is a sign of the hand, not a flaw.

There are no knots at all — the coloured wool weft is woven directly through the cotton warp, packed tight to hide it completely. Flat on both sides, so it's reversible. No two are ever identical.

You're buying direct from the loom, the same rug a UK retailer would mark up three or four times before it reached their showroom floor. Label STEP audits confirm that saving isn't coming out of the weaver's wage.

Vacuum on a standard setting — no pile to protect, so the beater bar is fine. Blot spills straight away with a clean cloth, never rub. Being reversible, you can flip it for even wear instead of rotating. For a deep clean, use a specialist handmade-rug cleaner.
