Choosing a living room rug
Leave the front legs of the sofa and armchairs on the rug. Living room rugs in stock now run from 177 × 129 cm to 278 × 199 cm, and the larger sizes suit a sofa and two armchairs. Each listing shows its exact size in cm.
Large living room rugs
For an open-plan room or a three-seat sofa, start with the 244 × 153 cm to 278 × 199 cm pieces here. For anything bigger, see our large rugs page.
Kilim, flatweave or hand-knotted
A kilim or flatweave has no pile and lies flat. A hand-knotted rug has a pile tied knot by knot. Both are in stock for living rooms, and each listing names its construction.
| Size (cm) | Size (ft) | Suits |

| 244-250 x 153-159 | 8'0" x 5'0" to 8'2" x 5'3" | Living room with a two-seat sofa |
| 266-278 x 132-199 | 8'9" x 4'4" to 9'1" x 6'6" | Living room with a three-seat sofa |
One rug per listing
Most pieces here are one of a kind. Most listings show one rug in stock. When it sells, that size and design may not come back.
