How do you offer such low prices?
How do you offer such low prices?
We cut out the layers that inflate prices elsewhere: no agent, no importer, no showroom margin. You buy direct from the people who make it, the same piece a UK retailer would mark up three or four times before it reached their shop floor. Label STEP audits confirm that the saving does not come out of the weaver's wage.
What does Label STEP certified mean?
What does Label STEP certified mean?
Label STEP is an independent Swiss organisation that checks fair wages, no child labour and safe working conditions where rugs are made. Our sister company, Imam Carpets, run by the same family, is one of only two Label STEP certified manufacturers in Pakistan. Imaco Rugs is a certified Label STEP Fair Trade Partner.
