What fits a 5 x 8 ft rug?
A 150 x 250 cm rug is longer than a 5 x 7, so it suits a long, narrow room or a bedroom. Leave about 30 cm of bare floor around the edge.
How much floor to leave
Leave about 30 cm of bare floor around the edge of the rug. In a living room, the front legs of the sofa and chairs should sit on the rug.
